New Zealand plays first, US West last, about 21 hours apart: GTA VI rolls west across the world one midnight at a time.

These hours are reported, not official. Kotaku reports a midnight-local launch; Rockstar hasn't published hours. In the US the store listings show one time for the whole country, midnight Eastern, so Central and West could unlock 1-3 hours earlier than shown.

Launch-night prep

Two things worth doing before the clock runs out: clear the SSD space (Rockstar hasn't published the install size; we'd free 150 GB, and there is no disc, so everyone downloads), and run the launch checklist so nothing ambushes you at midnight. Preload opens around November 12; details on the preload page.
