GTA VI on PC

GTA VI is announced for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S only. Every PC release date you have seen is an estimate built from Rockstar's past porting gaps. Here is what is actually on record, and what history suggests.

GTA VI on PC has not been announced. No date, no window, no system requirements. If a page lists GTA 6 PC specs, it made them up.

Those are the only two platforms Rockstar lists. Take-Two repeated it at the September 17, 2026 stockholder meeting: single-player, on two major platforms.

A PC version

Not announced - no date, no window, no specs. Rockstar did not announce PC versions of GTA V or Red Dead Redemption 2 before their console launches either, so silence now is normal, not a signal.

So what should you do?

If you only play on PC, plan on waiting. Going by the last two games, a gap of one to two years is the pattern - which is where the 2027 and 2028 guesses come from - but that is history, not a plan Rockstar has shared. This page changes the day a PC version is on the Newswire.
